Orthopantomogram (OPG)

A low-dose 2D panoramic X-ray of the teeth and jaw for fast, precise diagnostics.

A panoramic dental X-ray (orthopantomogram) is a diagnostic radiological method that gives the dentist a complete picture of the teeth, jaw and surrounding structures for an accurate assessment of their condition and treatment planning.

In our dental centre we use the most up-to-date X-ray equipment from the renowned manufacturer Planmeca, known for emitting very low amounts of radiation.

Benefits

In a very short time and with a very low radiation dose, we obtain a high-quality 2D image that allows us to precisely assess the condition of the teeth and bone.

How the scan works

The scan takes just 10 seconds: you sit on a chair while the device rotates around your head, using X-rays and a digital CMOS sensor to create a 2D image.
